Cunningham Pond Policies:
Cunningham Pond is intended for Peterborough residents and their guests. It is managed using a 1:1 vehicle sticker/pass. Guests, guest passes, and limited numbers of non-residents are managed very carefully by Recreation staff. The sticker season runs from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
These policies are enforced by the Peterborough Police Department via $100 parking tickets per Town Ordinance 195-19-1. Dogs are allowed on the boat launch and grass, but not the two beaches.

Residents: Every resident household is entitled to one free sticker per season. Additional stickers are $15 each.
Guests of Residents: Every resident household is allowed two free guest passes per day. Guest passes must be picked up at the Union Street office and will no longer be handed out at the pond. 25 additional day passes are available online each day at $20 each if you have more than two guest vehicles.
Non-Residents: Stickers for the season are $155 each and there are only 100 of them. As of 3/21/24 there are 31 stickers left. Non-residents may also purchase a day pass online at $20 each. There are 25 day passes available per day.
Guests of Non-Residents: 25 day passes are available for sale online each day at $20 each.
