We need more players and your daughter is welcome! 
We are part of Souhegan Valley Girls Softball League which consists of teams from Bedford, Goffstown, New Boston, Wilton, New Ipswich, Merrimack, Hollis-Brookline, Milford, and Amherst. We are offering 12U at this point in time. There will be 10 regular season games plus playoffs.

Who: 10, 11, and 12 year olds as of August 31, 2024. Please email jchidester@peterboroughnh.gov to discuss if you have a 13 year-old that would like to play.

When: Season runs May 5 - June 6 with playoffs completing in mid-June. We will begin practicing on Mondays and Wednesdays 2:45-4:15pm in April as soon as the fields at 64 Union Street are dried out and ready. Transportation will be provided from SMS to the field by Peterborough Recreation Department. There will be one weeknight game and one weekend game each week. Once the schedule comes out a final practice and game schedule will be provided. 

Where: Practices will be in Peterborough, but games will be in Peterborough and the towns listed above.

Cost: $70.00/residents, $90/non-residents*
*non-residents may participate who do not have a softball program in their town

Additional Information: 
- Please provide your daughter with a glove, sneakers or cleats, a fielding face mask, gray softball pants, and tall black socks. If you cannot provide these items, please reach out to the Recreation Department! 
- If you would like to be an assistant coach, we will cover your background checks and certification but not your child's registration. 
- If you know of anyone who can be an umpire, please notify the Program Coordinator at jchidester@peterboroughnh.gov.
