Pool Information & Weekend Reservations

Adams Pool, 71 Union St., is open now through mid-August.  The pool complex offers a a great pool with steps into the shallow end and a fun, wavy slide, as well as zero-depth Splash Pad.  The diving board will not be in use this year.  There are restrooms, changing rooms, and showers.  No concessions are sold at the pool but you may bring in your own refreshments (no glass bottles).  No smoking and no alcohol on any PRD property.  This reservation is to hold a spot for you at the Pond, it does not cover the admission fee to the pool.

Masks are highly recommended when you go indoors to the restrooms.  Unvaccinated people are also encouraged to wear a mask when out of the water.

Pool Hours:
Adult Lap Swim:  9:00am - 10:00am
Open Swim:  10:30am - 6:15pm**
(Swimming lessons might be offered, depending on staff availability, between 4:30 - 6:30pm.  We are still hiring certified lifeguards!)
Splash Pad Hours:
9am - 6:15pm

Admission Fees:
Day Passes: $2/person for Peterborough residents; $8/person non-residents
Season Passes: $12/person for residents; $49/family for residents 
Pre-Paid Punch Passes:
  15 visits = $23/resident household; $105/non-resident household
  30 visits = $38/resident household; $153/non-resident household
  45 visits = $48/resident household; $168/non-resident household
  60 visits = $53/resident household; $210/non-resident household
Resident Season Passes and Pre-Paid Punch Passes can be purchased online here or over the phone at our office, 924-8080 weekdays 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Right now, reservations are not needed Monday through Friday unless we are expecting extreme heat.  If the pool reaches the point of overcrowding, we reserve the right to temporarily close to new admissions.

We highly recommend reservations for the weekends to guarantee your admission.  Walk-ins will be allowed, as long as there is room.  If the pool reaches the point of overcrowding, we reserve the right to temporarily close to walk-in admissions.

**Sat/Sun Reservations are available in four time periods: 10:30 - noon, 12:30 - 2:00, and 2:30 - 4:00, 4:30 to 6:15pm.
Reservations cost $1 (non-refundable and non-transferable to a different date) and accommodate up to 4 people. (If your group is five to eight people, you will need to make two reservations.)  If you do not arrive within the first 20 minutes of your reservation, we may release that spot to a walk-in.  Reservations open up each Monday at 8:30am for the upcoming weekend.  Reservations must be made by 3:00pm each Friday, so that we can print rosters for the pool.  Although reservations cannot be made on weekend days, we will continue to display the reservation slots so you can see the number of available "seats" (reservations), to help you assess whether or not to take a chance on a walk-in admission.
