Who wants to run track & field?
Come join the fun! We’ll have races at the ConVal track for kids of a variety of ages! We will have the 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m and relays. There will be a Cross Country 1 mile race as well. Kids choose which races they want to run and will compete against others in their age group. Have fun racing friends and improving your running ability!
Where: ConVal High School Track, 184 Hancock Road, Peterborough
When: Thursdays, July 11, 18, 25, and August 1
Time: 5:30pm until all events are done (roughly 6:30-7pm)
Ages: 2-14
Cost: $5
Expectations:
- All parents must stay and supervise their children when they are not running an event
- Sign up your child for an event the night of at the sign-in table
- Registrations in advance are best, but walk-ins will be taken
- Attend all dates, some, or just one
- Wear sneakers, clothes for sunning, bug spray, sunscreen, and bring water
- This program needs tons of volunteers. Please reach out to the Program Coordinator for background check paperwork ASAP: jchidester@peterboroughnh.gov or call 603-924-8080. You MUST be background checked to help at this program.
