Teens in Action is back for another year!
Join other rising 7th-9th grade teens for an exciting, engaging, and adventure-filled summer opportunity. In this program, the key word is ACTIVE. This means that teens will be staying active through outdoor and indoor field trips, skill-building activities, team-building challenges, and service projects. We are going to GET OUT THERE! Incorporated throughout the program will be opportunities for teens to learn about jobs in the area, the Recreation Department, as well as other important skills essential for success in employment, college, and life. This program is unlike any other program that we offer. Spots ARE limited due to transportation and so that we can provide the best experience possible to local teens.
Possible Field Tips and Activities Include:
- Hiking Mt. Monadnock
- Rock climbing
- Volunteering in Playground Program
- Life skill-building activities
- Tours of a variety of work places
- Going to Chuckster's Family Fun Park
- Ropes course
- Going on a college tour
- Mock interview
- Taking a Tai Chi class
- Community Service
- An escape room

Session II: July 27-August 14
Time: 8:30am-4:30pm
Grades: Rising 7th-9th
Where: 64 Union Street, Peterborough
Price: $525/residents, $650/non-residents, $130 non-refundable deposit + the cost of a pool pass due at the time of registration
Financial Information:
- You will not be able to register your child for any part of this program unless your account is current.
- There is a $130 non-refundable deposit per session due for each child at the time of registration to hold your spot for full summer registrations.
-There are no refunds for the Teens in Action program after June 1st.
- PROGRAM MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL AT THE START OF THE PROGRAM.
Additional Information
- A T-shirt is included.
- The two sessions will have similar activities with some minor differences.
- A packed lunch with snacks will be required every day except the last day of the program.
