Lego Adventures! w/ Right Brain Curriculum • Register • View Cart •

Get Your Lego Game On!

Are you a Lego master? If so, it’s time to show off your skills! Each week we present a new building challenge: From skyscrapers to zoos, bridges to airports, malls to main streets, and everything in between! First, our Right Brain Curriculum instructors will review the history of what we are about to build: How airports graduated from landing strips to vast travel networks or how aeroelasticity explains why the Tacoma bridge nicknamed “Galloping Gertie” collapsed. Then, it’s time to build! You will create a model of each structure out of an enormous assortment of provided Legos, then present your creation as we photograph and document it. Learning and Legos: Now that’s an adventure!

About Our Partner, Right Brain Curriculum:
Right Brain Curriculum is a New England-based education company that offers engaging, interactive learning programs. Founded in 2016, our mission is to create outstanding, student-centered enrichment programs that allow young learners to acquire new life skills and embark on educational adventures.

Logistics: 
When: Mondays after school from January 27th - March 3rd (snow date March 10th)
Time: 3:30-5:30pm
Where: Recreation Meeting Room, 64 Union Street
Who: 1st-4th graders
Cost: $169/resident, $200/non-resident
Minimum Number of Registrants for Program to Run: 8

Additional Information: 
- Recreation staff will walk participants down to the Meeting Room from the 5-way intersection by PES. 
- Please pack your child with an after-school snack.
- From 3:30-4 we will walk down to the Meeting Room, have snack, and get some fresh air before the program begins at 4pm.
