Cheer Camp 2026!
Are you ready to jump, cheer, dance and stunt? Have fun learning and improving on the fundamentals of cheerleading in this program!
The Peterborough Recreation Cheer Camp is for kids who want to learn more about cheer as well as current cheerleaders. Local staff teaches creative dances, cheers, partner stunts, proper safety and technique, and more! Instruction is age appropriate with a focus on fun. Campers who sign up before July 20 will receive a camp T-shirt and cheer bow. Join the fun and cheer it up!
We are also offering a CIT option for 7th and 8th graders that want to help with this program!
Are you an experienced middle school cheerleader who wants to learn how to be a cheer camp staff member? Join high school staff to help teach campers the basics of cheer. CITs will receive a staff shirt and participate in staff demonstrations and performances.
Meet Your Coach!
Mo Greene is an Amherst resident and teacher at Souhegan High School. She has run the Amherst Recreation Cheer Camp for the past 10 years and is excited to bring cheer camp to Peterborough for another year. Coach Mo has over 20 years of cheer coaching experience including elementary, middle, high school teams and all-star teams. She currently runs the Northern Lights Amherst All Star Cheer Program.
Logistical Details:
Where: ConVal High School Athletic Complex* *rain location is ConVal High School gym or cafeteria
When: August 3 - August 7
Time: 9am-2pm, 8:30am-2pm for CITs
Ages:
Regular Camper: Rising 1st-6th grade
CIT: Experienced cheerleaders going into 7th and 8th grade
Cost:
Regular Camper:$140/resident, $170/non-resident
CIT: $40/resident, $50/non-resident
Additional Information:
- Campers should bring a non-perishable lunch Monday – Thursday.
- Parents are welcome to watch daily performances at 1:45pm.
- We need 15 campers to run this program.
