Swimming Lessons, Advanced Swimmer

We will be offering in-house swimming lessons without an affiliation to a national organization. Several of our swimming lesson staff have years of experience. These classes are structured like the popular classes we offered last year.
Each session will last a week, Monday through Friday. These lessons will be held at Adams Pool and can accommodate 8 people/session.
Advanced Swimmer Pre-requisites: knowledge and ability to perform basic strokes, crawl, breaststroke and backstroke. Possess a breathing pattern when swimming.
Purpose: This class is primarily offered to continue in the refinement/improvement of building swimming skills/techniques while increasing endurance. Working on rotary breathing, breaststroke and elementary backstroke. Some water safety will be taught at every level.

Session 1 - June 22-26
Session 2 - June 29- July 3
Session 3 - July 6 - 10
Session 4 - July 13-17
Session 5 - July 20 - 24
Session 6 - July 27 - July 31
Session 7 - August 3-7
Session 8 - August 10-14
Cost: $24/session/resident of Peterborough
$31/session/non-resident
Time: Group C, 11:10am to 11:40am
Group D, 11:45 to 12:15am
Progressive order of swimming levels
- Tiny Tots (An adult needs to accompany the child)
- Pre-Swimmers (for those wee ones who don't need a parent/guardian in the water but need to get more comfortable with water)
- Learning Basics (two groups, older and younger groups)
- Building Skills (one group)
- Advanced Swimmer (skill development)
