Has your child ever been interested in competitive swimming?
Program Description
Our goal is to work with young swimmers to improve their confidence and speed.Throughout the 7 week program swimmers will work towards better technique, stronger endurance, and the mechanics used during competition. We will work towards further advancements in their swimming careers, such as competitive swimming and overall confidence in the water. The swimmers in this program will be coached by two PRD lifeguards who have long histories as competitive swimmers.
There are only 10 spots available in this program since the coaches want to be able to develop each swimmer, so do not hesitate to get registered.
Bryanna has been a competitive swimmer on Peterborough Wave Swim Club (PWSC) for 9 years.
Sophia just finished her junior year at Assumption University. She is currently swimming for AU and she won the NE10 conference in the 100 yard breaststroke last year. She swam with the PWSC for 13 years and the Keene YMCA for her 4 years of high school. She's been helping teach kids how to swim for the past 6 years either through swim lessons or the off-the-blocks program through PWSC.
All program participants must have a base level of swimming ability, should not need a flotation device to move through the water, and should not be brand-new beginners.
