Pickleball is not just for adults here!
Program Description
Get ready to dive into the fastest-growing sport in America with our introductory program for middle school-aged kids! This isn't your average gym class; it's a high-energy journey into the world of dinks, volleys, and smashes. We're even making it easy on parents by picking up kids at SMS and bringing them to the program for you!
Our program is designed to be a blast while teaching fundamental skills such as:
- Dinks & Drops: Learn and practice how to execute dinks and drop shots right into the non-volley zone (the kitchen)!
- Serves & Returns: Learn the proper technique for serving the ball and positioning for a strong return of serve.
- Volleys & Smashes: Discover the excitement of powerful overhead shots and quick volleys up at the net.
- Court Movement: Develop agility and learn the correct footwork to cover the court safely and effectively.
- Game Play & Strategy: Put skills into action through fun drills, engaging games, and friendly matches to understand scoring and basic strategy.
Lean to play what could be an Olympic sport in the next several years!
