Save time and hassle by storing you boat at Cunningham Pond.  We will have 16 slips available to rent for the 2025 season.  Fee $75/slip    All boats need to be stored at Cunningham Pond after May 1.  All boats must be removed no later than September 30. Each boat will be assigned a specific numbered storage area selected at random each season.  Each boat must display a sticker, given by the Recreation Department which shows the storage spot number.    Preference will be given to Peterborough residents through April 30th.  Starting on May 1st, non-residents can purchase any available storage spots. Renters are responsible for securing and locking their boat to their storage spot.  The Peterborough Recreation Department is not responsible for damaged or stolen property.

Led by a USTA-approved coach, the Tennis in the Parks program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. We focus on FUN and learning the basics through play. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets and the latest engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker. All players in their first session receive and keep a new age-appropriate racquet and ball! Volleyball is back!  Join other adults that enjoy volleyball in the SMS gym on Wednesday nights for fun recreational play. Online registration in advance is required. Consistently practicing these gentle, meditative movements improves balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and mental clarity. Safe and sustainable for everyone, all movements can be modified and effectively compliment other wellness pursuits.Who is Theresa?Theresa Rogers is a Zen Wellness certified Qigong instructor and currently trains with Alex Dong's International Taijiquan Association of Tai Chi. Theresa is an advanced student of Senior Instructor Janet Briggs of East Wind Tai Chi in the practice of Yang Style Long form,  Dong family Simplified, Advanced, Fast, and Sword forms and Kai-He/Hao form. In 1987, Instructor Theresa received a BA from College of Atlantic in Human Ecology, the study of the connections between humans and their natural and physical environments. From 2001-2010, she was a regional champion and a national contender with USA Powerlifting, a drug-free strength sport federation. With life-long interests in human ecology and physical fitness, Theresa says: "In 2014, I was fortunate to begin studying Qigong and Tai Chi with Master James Rath of the Taoist Arts Center in Nashua. The profound physical and mental benefits I experienced fostered centeredness in all areas of my life." After achieving instructor certifications, Theresa taught the restorative Qigong curriculum at the Toaist Arts Center until its closing. In 2018 Theresa founded 7 Stars Qigong. From 2001-2010, she was a regional champion and a national contender with USA Powerlifting, a drug-free strength sport federation. With life-long interests in human ecology and physical fitness, Theresa says: "In 2014, I was fortunate to begin studying Qigong and Tai Chi with Master James Rath of the Taoist Arts Center in Nashua. The profound physical and mental benefits I experienced fostered centeredness in all areas of my life." After achieving instructor certifications, Theresa taught the restorative Qigong curriculum at the Toaist Arts Center until its closing. In 2018 Theresa founded 7 Stars Qigong. Each boat will be assigned a specific numbered storage area selected at random each season.  Each boat must display a sticker, given by the Recreation Department which shows the storage spot number.    Preference will be given to Peterborough residents through April 30th.  Starting on May 1st, non-residents can purchase any available storage spots. Renters are responsible for securing and locking their boat to their storage spot.  The Peterborough Recreation Department is not responsible for damaged or stolen property.
